How long have you been a Click Dealer customer for?

September 2006 was when we first started using Click Dealer, so that’s 11 years now!

How do you find working with Click Dealer on the whole?

Wow… How can I explain this? The attention that Click Dealer put into delivering the solutions that we need is unique in this industry, in this industry there are loads of other companies who we have relationships with and partnerships.

However, the relationship we have with Click Dealer stands out, it really does stand out with how focused they are and trying to help deliver solutions that help improve our business, the whole culture of the business is fantastic, it has that family run feel to it.

The amount of their attention we as a dealer get that we feel is unique to us and I’m sure that whilst I’m saying it’s unique to us, I’m sure it isn’t, I’m sure other dealers feel the same way about the level of attention that they get from Click.

We always find that nothing is too much trouble, everything that Click do, they do in such a collaborative way, it just continues to improve. We were very impressed with Click Dealer when it was introduced to us 11 years ago and it hasn’t stopped improving and hasn’t stopped impressing us.

Oh, I couldn’t speak highly enough, I mean I left Georgesons and went to work in a franchise dealership at Mercedes Benz and it made me even more aware of how useful Click Dealer was as a one stop shop for a DMS.

I see the direction Click are going in terms of increasing dealer profitability, and I think that the service they provide enables dealers to measure accurately where they are and to identify opportunities for profit.

In terms of the partnership we have, they will help identify data, the dealer then obviously must follow the information or follow up the advice which can be gleaned from Click but ultimately, the dealer has to deliver.

I would suggest that any focused business manager, general manager or sales manager who is using Click would be able to identify areas where he can improve performance and profitability.

Do you find that Click Dealer saves you a lot of time?

Yes, just going back to my previous experience with other DMS’s and in terms of stock management, the reports are generated quickly and they’re useful and accurate, it’s easy to categorise and to filter down into detail, it was great when it started and keeps improving.

Have you found over the years that Click Dealer has played a part in your business growing?

Without a doubt, Click Dealer enable us to accurately benchmark our performance in an efficient, cost effective way. We can have a daily report, a weekly report or a monthly report, so the information that Click gives us at click of a button is so useful in establishing trends.

It allows us to react and measure our performance and identify where we can improve and where we are doing well and make some opportunities. I mean, there are new elements which I know are coming out, which we have had conversations about, with regards to the new Click KPI tool and the performance dashboards and reports, which will only serve to make it easier, but all that information is already in Click.

As you can tell I’m a fan, I am very familiar with the program and the platform and can navigate around it to get the reports but once they put these dashboards on, it’ll just be so much easier for other people in the business too.

What would you say to anyone who is considering using Click Dealer but wasn’t sure what provider of website or DMS to go with?

The very first thing I would suggest is for them to try it, use it and get a demonstration. Once you get a demonstration of what it can do, you’ll be pleasantly surprised about how comprehensive it is how it is compared to other DMS’s. You don’t need to move out of one system into another to conduct your daily business and the majority of your work can be conducted within Click.

If you use it as a DMS, for me it is a proper solution, it is a proper one stop shop for it. I manage the sales team performance with stock, we look at the aftersales department with Click, we look at preparation of cars, we measure our profitability, we look at where we can make efficiencies and if you’re an engaged stakeholder in a business, you need to do all those things.

Click enables you to do it, in a way where it enables you to filter, it enables you to track your performances, previous years and moving forward I’m told that it is going to enable you to predict and to monitor what you need to do to improve profitability.
