Fingers Crossed at Click Dealer HQ Ahead of The Sentinel Business Awards!

The Sentinel Business Awards take place tonight at the King’s Hall, in Stoke-on-Trent and Click Dealer are shortlisted in three different categories!

The Clickers are finalists in the Business Innovation, Science & Technology and Entrepreneur of the Year (Gerry Moxham) awards and have everything crossed that we can win some long overdue silverware!

This year The Sentinel received a record number of applicants and the Clickers have had to see off some incredible competition to make it this far.

The awards – which showcase and highlight the best in business from across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire culminate in a glittering ceremony tonight and everybody at Click Dealer is waiting with baited breath to see what the event will bring!

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

This award will go to someone who has had a big impact either running their own business or as part of a team. The judges will reward enterprising behaviour such as participation, risk-taking, management and leadership, vision, originality and innovation. They will also look for work which has had a positive impact on the wider economy and community.

BUSINESS INNOVATION AWARD

Sponsored by Staffordshire Business Innovation Centre

Entrants will be companies for which a new idea – or a novel use of an existing one – is making a big contribution to their business. That contribution could be by way of a new product, service or process, and the judges will be keen to hear about the intellectual processes which gave rise to its design and development. They will also want to know how innovation is handled within the culture of the company.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN BUSINESS AWARD

Sponsored by Staffordshire University

Judges will be looking for companies who can show that innovative use of science and technology is helping to improve or grow their business, increase profits, create jobs or benefit the community or environment.
