For episode 77 of Meet the Clickers, I sat down with Customer Support Executive, Nicole Goodwin! This week we find out about Nicole’s mad skateboard tekkers, how the number 69 makes her day better and meat and potato pie!
Hey Nicole, great to catch up with you! Could you please start off by telling us a bit about how you started out here at Click and what you do on a day to day basis?
I started in customer service and I still work in customer service – answering questions on a wide range of different services that we offer at Click, it varies from helping clients un-sell a vehicle to fixing their emails.
I’ve heard that you’re a big fan of skateboarding and often compare your skills to the likes of the great Tony Hawk. Tell us more…
I don’t compare myself to Tony Hawk, but my boyfriend and I have had a lot of fun skating around parks, attempting to do different tricks – it’s better than sitting in watching Netflix!
Awesome stuff! The only skateboarding trick I can do is making the board disappear from under my feet. How different was your life one year ago?
It was very different, I was on a completely different path – this one I have found to be a lot better.
I was on the wrong path too, ended up taking me over an hour to get to Tesco last week. What are some of the small things that make your day better?
Small things that make my life better would be realising my brew is still warm after I have forgotten about it or it not raining outside… Or seeing somebody has 69 vehicles in their worklist.
Following on from that startling revelation, what are you most likely to become famous for?
I am most likely to become famous for falling over and it going viral on YouTube.
Well, we hope you still remember us at Click! In case you hit your head really hard. You have just been made Prime Minister, what is the first thing that you’d do?
The first thing I would do is just leave the EU and see what happens.
That answer is far too professional, where’s our 50 new bank holiday’s, Nicole? What three words best describe you and why?
Three words: Clumsy / Light-hearted / Fun.
Should clumsy people be allowed on a skateboard? If your childhood had a smell, what would it be and why?
Meat and potato pie – if my Nan was still around to cook me that, I wouldn’t be a vegetarian.
Nobody cooks quite like a Nan! What is something that everybody is really invested in but you just don’t see the point of?
Maybe Love Island which has just started – it’s not really my cup of tea.
I agree with you Nicole, it would be much better if they told them it was Love Island but really it was that Bear Grylls show where they have to start their own fire and dig their own toilet. Finally, as always, what’s your favourite thing about working here at Click?
My favourite thing about working at Click would be that every day holds something different so I never get bored!
Great to hear! A massive thank you to Nicole for taking the time to catch up with me. If you enjoyed this week’s episode of Meet the Clickers, you can catch up on all previous episodes here. If you’re all caught up, be sure to join us next week for episode 78 when Ben Wood will take back control of the blog.
Clicker’s, It’s been a pleasure! Until next time…
