Meet the Clickers – Chloe Ellis

Welcome back to episode 25 of Meet the Clickers!

This week I caught up with our very own Slim Shady and Customer Care Executive, Chloe Ellis!

Hi Chlo! How are you mate? First of all it’s nice to see the weather is finally picking up! Could you let the readers at home know a bit about your start to Clicker life?

“Hi Joe, I’m good thanks, hope you are too! I am loving the weather this week, can’t wait to get in the beer garden!

So, I started working at Click in March 2017 as a Customer Care Apprentice. I was mainly just helping Danni out with feeds, match-ups and Trello cards. It was a huge change from working in a nursery but coming here is the best thing I have done!”

Good stuff. Your job title is Customer Care Executive, what does this involve doing?

“From being a Customer Care Apprentice, I then slowly started to progress to having more responsibilities, and now I deal with all of the feed set-ups and I monitor the main support email address for our dealers and I answer any queries that they have.”

What’s your favourite drink?

“Hmmm…… I do have a slight addiction to Pepsi Max but my all-time favourite drink would have to be a double Red Berry Ciroc with Lemonade!!”

You’re known in the office as a bit of an MC, could you tell us where this came from?

“Oh yeah, I love a good rap haha! Basically, I accidentally let slip to one of the LOVELY Customer Care girls (Chelsea) that when I was younger, I had a YouTube channel with me rapping to Professor Green! And obviously she told someone else and then word just spread about me being a top MC haha! I’m also pretty good at “Mans Not Hot!”

Hahahaha, absolutely brilliant. If you had unlimited funds to build a house that you would live in for the rest of your life, what would the finished house be like?

“That’s a good question! I would have a huge mansion with a water slide that started from my bedroom and as soon as I got up in a morning, I could just slide down into the indoor pool! My house would just have to be covered in fluffy stuff, fluffy wallpaper, fluffy carpets, fluffy furniture, etc.

I would also love to have one of those computers that Cher has on Clueless where it chooses a matching outfit for her every day. My biggest dream for a house though would be a walk-in wardrobe as big as Kim Kardashian’s!”

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take three things with you, what would you take?

“I would have to take my Mum because I literally couldn’t get through life without her! I would take Kevin Hart with me because he is the funniest person ever, and I would like to spend my last few hours laughing! Last one….. Would have to be my all-time favourite meal “Donner meat and chips with extra mayonnaise!”

Hahahahaha. Chloe, I don’t think you’ve really grasped the question. Normally what people want to do is stay alive haha, each to their own! What one thing do you really want but can’t afford?

“There is quite a big list, but I have always wanted a horse but they are just way too expensive and high maintenance for me!”

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?

“My ideal weekend would just be in a sunny country somewhere, having a few drinks and having no worries at all.”

Who is your favourite Clicker and why?

“That’s a hard one!! I think everybody at Click is absolutely awesome but because I sit next to Helen, I think she just makes my day! She is just so stupidly funny that she could make anyone laugh!”

What are some small things that make your day better?

“The office banter has got to be no.1, it gets better every day hahaha! Another one would have to be Danni Davies’ little head popping up over my desk every now and again to serenade me with whatever song is on the radio accompanied by her weird facial expressions!”

Hmmm. She has got a ‘belting’ voice our Danni. Last but not least, what do you love most about working at Click?

“I know every Meet The Clickers has said the same thing about Click but it is such an amazing place to work! The whole environment of the office is so calm and friendly that you look forward to coming to work every day. There isn’t ever a day where I wake up in a morning and don’t want to come in. If you’re ever struggling with anything then you know you can just ask someone for help and they would be more than happy to do so! I honestly just love my job!”
