Welcome back to episode 30 of Meet the Clickers!
Joining me in the hot seat this week is a fellow Joe and Stoke City fan, Joe Rastovan!
Joe Rasto, how are we doing?! Great to catch up mate. Could you tell us a bit about your start to Clicker life and how it came about?
“Hiya mate, I’m all good thanks how are you? I was working at a bank almost a year ago when Tom from the Web Change department told that there was a position available at Click and I haven’t looked back since then.”
Good stuff. Your official title is Customer Care Executive however I know your role has changed slightly recently. Could you tell us how?
“When I first started I was taking incoming calls from dealers with any questions and queries that they may have regarding Click.
Alongside doing that I have very recently started learning to push websites live for new customers once their websites have been built for them and checking they are happy with everything once it has gone live.”
I know you’re a big fan of music so this should be a tough one. What is the best gig you’ve ever been to and why?
“I think that’s the hardest question I’ve ever been asked. I’ve seen a lot of bands multiple times that always but on a really good show, but I’d have to say Rammstein at Download Festival 2013 because they incorporated a full pyrotechnic stage show into the gig which was pretty spectacular to watch.”
If you were a dictator of a small nation, what crazy dictator stuff would you do?
“First of all I’d make the national anthem One Love by Bob Marley and then I’d make it compulsory for it to be played before all sporting events. I’d also make it mandatory for every household to have a pet.”
Pets compulsory in the household, great shout. As if you wouldn’t want one anyway! There are two types of people in the world. What are the two types?
“People that don’t like cricket and people that love it.”
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
“As I probably won’t see one in my lifetime I would have loved to witness the 1966 World Cup Final win for England.”
Definitely a popular answer that one Rasto! What is your favourite sporting moment of all time and why?
“I’m a big Stoke fan so I’d have to say it was the FA Cup semi-final against Bolton. It has got to be the best atmosphere that I have been in for a football match and the fact that we hammered them 5-0 made it even better.”
What a day that was. If you could have a never-ending candle that smelled like anything you wanted, what fragrance would you want it to be?
“I don’t think there is any better smell than freshly made doughnuts, so i’ll have to go with that.”
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor and why?
“I love playing a game of cricket on a Saturday afternoon during the summer and then having a pint afterwards, so it has to be Freddie Flintoff. The bloke is a legend who has a lot of quality when it comes to playing cricket and drinking pints.”
Finally, what do you love the most about working at Click?
“Lots of people have said the people at Click, which they aren’t wrong to say. But to mix it up a bit I’m going to say I love working here because it’s a family run business. This is the first time I’ve worked for a family run business and I can honestly say that I much prefer it.”
Great answer there Joe. It’s great as well that even though Click have grown a huge amount, that same ethos has never left.
Well, as always a big thank you for getting involved in Meet the Clickers, I appreciate you taking time out of your day to answer the questions.
As for everyone at home, we hope you all enjoyed the latest instalment of our series, the next addition will be out this time next week but if that’s too long to wait, please click here to check out our other episodes.
