Meet The Clickers – Kuda Musoni

Meet the Clickers is back once more For Episode 70! Apprentice Web Developer, Kuda Musoni, is in the hot seat this week to educate us all on everything from his superhuman strength to his dreams of a treehouse mansion…

Hi Kuda, great to catch up with you mate! Could you please start by telling us a bit about how you started out here at Click and what your day to day responsibilities are?

Hi Ben, thanks for having me, I’ve been looking forward to this for some time now. I found out about Click from my computer science teacher who told me about the apprenticeship near the end of my GCSE’s. One meeting with Shaun and an interview later I got the role. My day-to-day responsibilities as an apprentice developer are to learn as much as I can about Click and improve on my skills so that I can soon get more involved in the company.

Good stuff! What’s the best way to start the day?

I personally think that a hot shower and a good breakfast is the best way, but my normal routine is to check my phone for a bit then fall back asleep.

Jamie Cotton mentioned that you once smashed through the back of a desk with what he called “God’s strength” – what is he talking about?

While Steve was screwing some desks together, he asked me to apply some pressure to keep them still. As I was doing this, I felt like I wasn’t putting enough on it, so I used my knee for that extra force. What I didn’t know is that it couldn’t handle the ‘strength’ and I accidentally put it through the back of the desk, and ever since, the desk hasn’t been the same.

Giving Eddie Hall a run for his money! What is your ideal way to spend a weekend?

Playing football and watching Netflix.

What do you spend the most time thinking about?

Arsenal winning the Premier League since it hasn’t happened since I was 2.

It’s been a similar amount of time since Crewe Alex was last relevant! If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what would it be?

I hate my sleep being disturbed so people wouldn’t be allowed to call or facetime anyone past a certain time.

I’d certainly be a supporter of that! Who’s your go-to artist or band?

I listen to a lot of music so It’s hard to single it down to one but The Internet, Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean and Skepta would have to be my favourites.

I’ll be honest, I have never heard of any of them! Tell us three random facts about yourself…

I have an addiction to Trainers.
I can make a water drop noise from my mouth
I’ve got a left foot like Roberto Carlos.

You can put that left foot of yours to good use when we play against Codeweavers again in a few months’ time! If you had unlimited funds to build a house, what would it look like when finished?

A tree house mansion with a pool and an escalator!

Finally, what’s your favourite thing about working here at Click?

The great people and the great working atmosphere make working here and learning a lot more fun than it used to be at school.

Couldn’t agree more, the Clickers truly are one of a kind!

If you enjoyed getting to know Kuda this week, make sure that you check out our previous Meet the Clicker episodes here and don’t forget to come back next week for Episode 71!

Until next time,
