Digital Project Manager

Permanent - 35 hours per week
Salary – c£24k depending on experience

Location – Hybrid working: Office in Stoke-on-Trent office, 5 mins walk from the train station, with onsite car parking.
The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a personable and confident individual to join our friendly team. We’re looking for someone who will work with our customers to understand the requirements for their website and the client’s branding, translate this into a clear project brief for our web developers, and deliver a great go-live experience for the customer.
Key responsibilities
- Leading website consultations with new customers to understand their requirements, branding and objectives.
- Turning customer conversations into clear, actionable briefs for our website developers.
- Acting as the key liaison between customers and developers throughout each project.
- Matching website features and products to customer needs while considering performance, design and usability.
- Advising customers on website best practice, constructively challenging requests where appropriate and setting clear expectations.
- Managing objections and escalations through confident, professional communication.
- Progressing projects by phone and email, maintaining client relationships through the web studio mailbox and logging all contact in our in-house CRM.
- Managing project dates, quality-checking websites against the agreed brief and working within strict internal SLAs.
- Preparing and launching your own websites once customer sign-off has been confirmed.
- Keeping project management software and associated tasks up to date.
About you
You will be a confident communicator and able to build good relationships with customers as well as our internal teams. We need someone who is organised and is comfortable managing multiple projects at once. You’ll have a keen eye for design & detail, be able to appreciate good website layout, and be able to identify website functionality that would benefit the client.
Essential skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several projects and workflows at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer-first mindset and the confidence to make decisions, advise and educate clients.
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation of effective website layout and design.
- Experience of following processes and working to SLAs.
- Experience of handling customer escalations and solving problems.
- A genuine interest in digital products and services.
- Experience in an agile, customer-focused digital agency or similarly fast-paced environment.
Desirable skills
- Good website knowledge and an understanding of UX/UI best practice or other digital services. This is desirable rather than essential, and full training will be provided.
- Technical knowledge of website go-lives and DNS, which would be a significant advantage.
