Meet the Clickers – Helene Ward

Episode 16 of Meet the Clickers is here!

With it being the final episode of the year, we thought what better way to celebrate than to catch up with the person that keeps the office from basically falling apart, our very own superhero, Helene!

H, great to catch up, hope you’re looking forward to the Christmas break. Could you tell the readers at home a bit about your start to Clicker life?

“Hi Joe, I started in October 2015, after being rescued from my previous employer by Gerry and Pip (why didn’t you ask me sooner?) and it was the best decision I have ever made. When Gerry said I would be a kind of Mum of the office with me being older he was not joking.”

Most definitely. So, you’re known at Click HQ as being the ‘Office Mum,’ could you tell us why this is?

“Because I am old enough to be their Mum and some of them their Nan! I always make sure we have beverages and of course toilet rolls, not that I wipe their…. never mind. I’m still trying to educate them on transferring food from the fridge to the bin.”

Hahaha, absolutely brilliant. So apart from looking after us all, what is your official job role?

“To keep the money rolling in and maintain Click’s accounts. I’m also a point of reference for leaking radiators, re-filling the boiler, looking after the dishwashers, Bibo water stations – you name it, if in doubt ask Helene, must be my years of life experience.”

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?

“Walking around a lake in the Lake District with my other half, Chris and our dogs, Roxy & TJ, with a picnic and lovely weather.”

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?

“Now that’s difficult it’s between the Dalai Lama because he just emits both happiness and calmness, or Tom Hardy – “I have a use for him!”

Who has impressed you the most with what they’ve accomplished?

“My daughter Charlie who has a degree in Psychology – I’m so proud of everything she does.”

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

“Think – I am a Libra so I would have to weigh up everything. I have always wanted to walk the Great Wall of China!”

Favourite TV programme of all time and why?

“Absolutely Fabulous because Joanna Lumley is so funny!”

Last but not least, what do you love most about working at Click?

“The Moxhams. They make everybody feel like family and it is their vibe that bonds us Clickers together.”

Brilliant stuff, thanks for that H. Well, that’s Meet the Clickers all wrapped up for the year now, we hope you’ve enjoyed the series so far, it’s been emotional!  

Not to worry though, 2018 is right around the corner and so is season 2 of Meet the Clickers!

May I leave you all with a little Christmas message I saw recently, ‘A lovely thing about Christmas, is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm and we all go through it together. So let’s buckle up and enjoy the ride’.
