5 Star Reputation – Digital Experts for Independent Dealers

Meet the Clickers – Lee Rawlinson

Meet the Clickers - LeeWelcome back to episode 10 of Meet the Clickers!

Our Head of Sales, Lee, is in the hotseat this week to give you an honest insight into both his personal and Clicker life!

Lee, great to have you here mate. Could you tell us when you joined Click Dealer?

“I joined Click back in 2014. The company had just moved into their first office building and away from the family home where it all began. It has been great to experience such growth within a company, yet with those family roots still present. It makes you proud!

Wonderful. Can you now tell me about your current role at Click?

“My official title is Head of Sales. As you can imagine that covers a whole host of responsibilities, everything from looking after the sales force, to ensuring the end user experience during on-boarding is as the consumer would expect from a market leading company like ourselves.

What is the hardest thing you have ever done?

“Army stuff.

Could you tell me what you are most looking forward to in the next 10 years?

“Looking to get myself on one of those ‘dumped on a desert island and live off the land for a month’ type holidays, that is something I’m looking forward to. Generally, just enjoying what life is all about though, family, friends and seeing the world.

What would you rate 10/10?

“These questions aren’t bad, probably a 10 so far, have you Googled them? Let’s go with Click Dealer on this one – Click’s ability to innovate!

Haha, I will be honest, Google did help me out with a few! What fictional place would you like to go to?

“I would like to live in the goonies.

Who is your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?

“Haven’t really got one, I have a very varied taste in music and go through phases. For instance, for my commute this morning, I had Nina Simone – Sinnerman Live in London on repeat. Not that this needed repeating many times, it’s like 8 minutes long!

Is it true that you are trying to organise a charity boxing match against one of our competitors/dealers to help raise money for our ongoing fundraiser? If so, could you fill us in on the details?*

“The charity we are donating to is very close to my heart so if that means taking a few punches, probably many actually, to raise money for the cause then I’m all in.

Fantastic Lee. If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?

“Funnily enough I do see myself as quite the DIY Olympian, not sure about gold though, perhaps a solid bronze shout, silver at a push.

What is the most annoying habit that other people have?

“Cyclists riding on the road two or more abreast!

Not a big fan of that myself! Last but not least, what do you love most about working at Click?

“I’ve never worked within a business that holds so much potential. Yes, Click has experienced massive growth within the last three years however this is nothing compared to the innovation I see month on month and the releases we have planned. We joke about putting a ‘Clicker’ on the moon however, with the tech we have just around the corner I can’t imagine a moon landing, maybe even intergalactic travel, is too far away. So, I have to say the sheer potential we possess is the thing I love the most, the people aren’t bad either.”

Great stuff. Couldn’t agree more Lee. Thank you for being a part of Meet the Clickers, we hope you enjoyed it!

*If you would like to take part in a charity boxing match or think that you know someone who is more than a match for our Lee could you please email your interest to marketing@clickdealer.co.uk. All proceeds would go towards our ongoing fundraiser (https://www.justgiving.com/clickdealer),
