Meet The Clickers – Jerick Lontoc

Hello and welcome to a brand-new episode of Meet the Clickers! For episode 87, I am joined by one of Click Dealer’s Junior Web Developers, Jerick Lontoc! Jerick took the time out of his busy schedule to catch up with me and discuss everything from his former basketball success to how he manages to cope with the sense of humour of a certain member of Click’s Tech team! Here’s what he had to say…

Hi Jerick, great to catch up with you mate! As always, could you please start off by telling our wonderful readers a bit about your job role here at Click and what you do on a day to day basis?

“Hi Ben, great to catch up with you too! I am a Junior Web Developer here at Click Dealer. My role includes keeping on top of maintenance tasks that come in and making new features for our dealers.”

Great stuff! What is your biggest claim to fame in life so far?

“Probably winning a basketball tournament!”

Very good, ‘LeBron Lontoc’ has a nice ring to it! What does your perfect weekend look like?

“I don’t know really. Probably just driving through country roads and enjoying the sun when we have it.”

It’s very rare that we get any sun to enjoy! In your opinion, what’s worth paying more for to get the best of?

“I’d say food. Who doesn’t like a bit of good food for a little bit extra?”

I love food, I’m definitely with you on that one! If you could choose to have one superpower, what would it be and why?

“I’d say flying because you can get to anywhere you want to in no time!”

What’s something that everybody should try at least once in their life?

“Bungee jumping is something that should probably be on anyone’s bucket list!”

I think I’ll pass on that one, I’m much safer with my feet on the ground! How much has your life changed over this past year?

“Not that much really, but I’m grateful for what I have.”

What do you spend too much time doing?

“I probably spend far too much time playing video games!”

I think that there are a few fellow Clickers that are guilty of that too! As part of Click’s Tech team, how on earth do you put up with Austin’s terrible sense of humour?

“It’s hard to put up with Austin’s sense of humour. You can’t really avoid it, you just have to deal with it!

“P.S – I’m joking, Austin!”

Haha, I don’t think you’re joking really! Finally, what do you love the most about working here at Click?

“My favourite thing about working at Click is the amazing people! They’re always keen to help and never fail to make you feel welcome.”
