Click Dealer Family Fun Day and Charity Football Match

Last Sunday saw the Click Fun Day take place at Eccleshall Football Ground, raising over £1,700 for chosen charities. As well as a football match, there were also tombola and raffle prizes, Disney characters, and performances from UV dance studios. Thanks to all who attended and donated, making it a fun day for all!

The 13th August saw the eventful Click Fun Day take place at Eccleshall Football Ground which included a charity football match played against Evolution Funding. A fun day was had by all that attended – and we raised over £1,700 for our chosen charities!

It was great to see so many take part in our Click and Evo Football teams and get stuck into the football match – kitted out in their company colours. There were some exciting goals and epic saves from both teams!

90 minutes is a long time to be running around a pitch for, so a huge well done to both teams who all made it to the end with no broken bones – though there were plenty of other injuries! Both teams gave it their all – but the strength of Evo’s team led them to a 9-2 victory. Although I’m sure all the players are already gearing up for a rematch in the future!

Well done to all the Man of the Match winners – Keiran & Jack from Click and James from Evo!

Throughout the day there were plenty of other activities to keep everyone busy too, as well as delicious food on offer to keep those rumbling tummies at bay!

We had a tombola with lots of great items to be won as well as a raffle. Huge thanks to all the businesses and people who donated to both the tombola and raffle, there were some really generous prizes for the raffle – including a Port Vale signed Ball or T-shirt, John Lewis Hamper, New Vic Theatre Tickets plus lots of vouchers and gift sets.

Aura were on hand to answer any question about the charity and Gemma was also offering face glitter to anyone who wanted to add a bit of glitz to their face.

Danni’s Mum made a gorgeous crocheted Clicker character to guess the name of, the winning name was Marv the Roaring Rider, a lovely little tribute to our Marv – if you would love to find out more about Danni’s Mum’s beautiful crocheted toys, take a look at her Facebook page.

Thanks to Jordys Pizza Company who made incredible fresh pizzas for a donation – and they were given the seal of approval by our Italian data analyst, Silvia (so they must have been good pizzas!)

The kids loved seeing Spiderman, Elsa and Moana and having a sing along with a certain popular Disney song – Let it go, let it go, can’t hold it back any moreeee. Sorry.

Also thanks to UV dance studios who performed before the game and at halftime – fantastic performances by the girls.
