This weekend, Click Dealer employees and some of their friends and partners will once again be taking on the Born Survivor obstacle course event in their continued charity fundraising pursuit in aid of Leighton Hospital’s Ward 17.
The brainchild of an ex-Royal Marine commando and Falkland’s veteran, Born Survivor has quickly become one of the most exciting and innovative courses in the country. The event is set to test the Clicker’s personal fitness, courage, determination, teamwork and camaraderie to the limit!
Navigating an extremely challenging assault course with 30+ military training inspired obstacle challenges is sure to test our Clickers to the max! But they’ll be doing it in aid of a wonderful cause, which is sure to help them dig deep when they’re running on empty!
Team Click will join thousands of other participants in the starting cage before preparing to run, climb, haul, slide and crawl their way around the 10km course, set in the stunning surroundings of the Lake District’s picturesque Lowther Castle.
Click Dealer’s Social Media Manager, Joe Podmore, has organised the latest charity event and said of the team’s upcoming challenge: “I can’t wait to get out there and start spreading the muck once again with all of the wonderful natives at Click Dealer!
“It’s for a great cause and we had an amazing time doing it back in March in Manchester, so we thought we may as well get ourselves up to the Lake District for more muddy fun and adventures!
“The money we’re raising for Leighton Hospital’s Ward 17 is already making a difference, so it’s worth pushing through the pain barrier knowing that we’re helping to save children’s lives. If you’ve not donated already, please spare what you can! Every penny helps! Viva La Click!”
