The Clickers Are Taking on Born Survivor in Aid of Charity!

On May 13th sixteen brave members of the Click Dealer team will be taking on the daunting Born Survivor obstacle course at Capesthorne Hall, Manchester in aid of Leighton Hospital’s Ward 17.

Why Are Click Dealer Raising Money For Leighton Hospital’s Ward 17?

In March 2017, Click Dealer Director Pippa Rawlinson and Head of Sales Lee Rawlinson’s young son Jude was treated on Leighton Hospital’s Ward 17 for Meningitis and thanks to his tremendous fighting spirit and the work of the dedicated medical professionals, he is now back at home and on the road to recovery.

In order to thank the hospital and to ensure that care can continue to be given to any children unfortunate enough to contract the Meningitis virus in the future, Lee and Pippa would like to give something back to the ward to ensure that their good work continues, Lee said:” The level of care given to Jude whilst he was in hospital was first class, he couldn’t have been in better hands.

“Thanks to the talented medical staff on Ward 17 our Son Jude is now back at home and on the mend and we couldn’t possibly be more grateful for that.”

Director and Head of Customer Care, Pippa added:” This was such a scary time for our family and the friendly and knowledgeable staff on Ward 17 really helped us through it and were brilliant with Jude too.

“I can’t speak highly enough of them all and we want to raise money to make sure that their brilliant work carries on and they can help others in the same way that they helped our little boy.”

Born Survivor 2017

The Born Survivor challenge is the first of various charity fundraising events from Click Dealer in aid of Leighton Hospital’s Ward 17 this year.

The brainchild of an ex-Royal Marine Commando and Falkland’s veteran, Born Survivor has quickly become one of the most exciting and innovative obstacle course events in the country. The event is designed to test fitness, courage, determination, teamwork and camaraderie to the limit!

Navigating an extremely challenging assault course with 30+ military training inspired obstacle challenges is sure to test our Clickers to the max! But they’ll be doing it in aid of a wonderful cause, which is sure to help them dig deep when they’re running on empty!

The Clickers will join thousands of other participants in the starting cage before preparing to run, climb, haul, slide and crawl their way around the 10km course, set in the stunning surroundings of the picturesque Capesthorne Hall.
