Crompton Way Motors Owner Credits Click Dealer with Big Role in Digital Retailer of the Year Win at AutoTrader’s Click Awards!

Bolton based car dealer, Crompton Way Motors, has won Digital Retailer of the Year at AutoTrader’s Click awards and owner Paul Richards was quick to credit Click Dealer for helping them to win the prestigious accolade.

Richards said: “In terms of our website Click Dealer played a big part in us winning the award. If you look at the information, usability and speed, it is all Click Dealer related as obviously, the website was a large part of the judging.

“People voted for us for our navigation because it’s just so easy.”

With trust and transparency both big factors in the judging criteria for the award the Crompton Way Motors owner believes his experience in the automotive industry has helped to refine his methods over time: “We started 10 years ago here on this site, my background is franchise, Audi and VW, I had 25 years of experience combined there.

“My philosophy is trust and transparency, solve customer’s issues and look after people and make them feel comfortable.”

In the cut and thrust of modern day business Richards believes that the speed at which Click Dealer works for its customers is a huge advantage to his company: “Our new starter, Howard, came in on Monday and his name was on the website the very same day.

“If we were with AutoTrader it would have taken a few weeks. The speed of Click’s changes is so, so good.”

Crompton Way Motors’ website was scrutinised by an expert panel, who undertook an in depth analysis of all aspects of their site on PC’s, tablets and various other online platforms before being judging them as Digital Retailer of the Year.

Throughout the rigorous judging period, Crompton Way Motors was commended for keeping things simple, staying aware of their entire audience and refraining from using too much industry jargon.
