5 Star Reputation – Digital Experts for Independent Dealers

Meet the Clickers – Will Poole

Meet the Clickers - Will PooleWelcome back to another episode of Meet the Clickers!

This week we would like to welcome Will Poole to the hot seat. Enjoy!

Will, great to have you here. Could you tell us when you joined Click?

“I joined the squad around 17 months ago, one of the best decisions I’ve made in a while.”

Fantastic, could you tell us a bit about your current role at Click?

“I joined as a member of the website delivery team, we are involved with the front end builds for all of Click Dealer’s websites, giving our dealers the edge over their competitors by making some of the most stunning and feature packed websites in the industry. We are like wizards of the web, bashing out killer websites all day, everyday.

It’s very important these days to have a good internet presence and that all starts with your website, we try our best to be different, while keeping the core functionality of a good website intact.”

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?

“I’d like to meet myself from the past or future because I’m pretty awesome really.”

Who’s your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?

Hmm, probably The Velvet Underground, I like the silky smooth rock vibes, reminds of when I was in ‘nam.”

Who’s Your Favourite Clicker?

That’s a tough question, I will probably get in trouble here, but for me it has to be Ollie Moxham, he gave me the job and manages the web department at Click. Other than Gerry he is one of the hardest working people I have met in my life, quite inspiring really, he’s dedicated not just to the business and the dealers, but the staff also.

As I’ve said previously Click Dealer is a great place to work, the main reason for that is how you get treated here, management are always there to offer their help and support and actively encourage all of us here to further our skills and be the best we can be.  Ollie has been a great boss over my time here and we all know we can go to him if we have any issues or problems, he’s very supportive (he’s also pretty good at darts, unfortunately.)”

Can’t disagree with you there Will! What is your dream car?

I’d like a DeLorean from back to the future, or Knight Riders car, but I’d have to mute that annoying dude that talks all the time (love the Hoff though.)

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be and why?

I’ve always wanted to be a lumberjack, I have some great shirts for the job and I’ve recently grown a beard, nearly there!

Haha. You have got some great checked shirts. What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? (Keep it clean!)

Clean? That’s disappointing. I think at least once everyone should eat dessert before a meal, break the rules a bit.”

What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?

I had a Noshers for lunch today, it was horrible, but had to try it because everyone keeps banging on about it.

If you could choose anyone, who would you choose as your mentor?

Probably myself because I’m ace.

Riiiiiight, ok *laughs.* Finally then, what do you love most about working at Click?

There’s a lot I love about Click Dealer.  I can’t see myself ever working anywhere else because it’s such a great place to work.  I think though it has to be the people for me.  There’s a certain breed of person who stick out the job at Click, they are generally hard working and passionate about the company and want to help it succeed, I think that’s great. I have learned a lot working here, both about myself and my job as a web designer, but the people make it great.  The directors aren’t bad either.”

Fantastic mate. Thank you for taking part in Meet the Clickers.

We missed an episode last week so we will be bringing you two this time around. You lucky bunch! Episode 9 will be live by Friday…
