Meet the Clickers – Megan Goodwin

Welcome back to episode 28 of Meet the Clickers!

To round up another great week at Click HQ, I caught up with Chocolate and Dog obsessed, Miss Willy Wonka herself, Megan Goodwin!

Hi Megan! Great to catch up as always mate. Could you tell us when you joined Click Dealer and how it came about?

“Hi Joe! I started at Click in August 2016. Working here came about after I had travelled around for a few years and decided I was finally ready to come home to Stoke! I actually went to High School with Danni Davies, she told me about the role and it went from there!”

Good stuff! Your current job title is Office Based Trainer but I know your role has changed from when you first started so could you tell the readers at home a bit about your progression within the business?

“I started at Click as an Office Based Trainer, training StockWeb, but since then I have progressed into DMS training. This includes focusing on more of the dealer’s accounts side of Click, invoicing, reporting, expenses, etc! I now provide DMS training on-site at dealerships, here at Click HQ or by remotely logging into their computer!”

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning gold for?

“100% eating chocolate as I have a massive sweet tooth. I have a reputation of eating copious amounts of chocolate for breakfast and I’m completely okay with that.”

All the Clickers know that you’re the biggest Starbucks fan on the entire globe, BUT, if you could only choose one drink from there for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

“Haha, closely followed by half of the Customer Care team! Most definitely a white chocolate mocha with an extra shot and no whipped cream!”

Hahaha. That is very true. Danni, Kate & Sadie in particular! Where is the most interesting place you’ve been and why?

“It’d have to be Sydney in Australia! It’s such an amazing city filled with the most outrageous bars and events. There’s always something to do and it’s such a vibrant place, I would love to go back one day.”

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?

“Off somewhere on a weekend break! I love to get away for the weekend (preferably on a beach and with a cocktail in hand.)”

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take three things with you, what would you take and why?

“Firstly, I’d take my Grandma Vera, she is the most lovely but bonkers woman I’ve ever known, she’d always keep me entertained! Secondly, I’d take chocolate, just because I genuinely don’t go half a day without eating it and would be having major withdrawal symptoms. Lastly, I’d need to take a dog, for obvious reasons!”

What are the small things that make your day better?

“I’m very easily pleased by little things when it comes to chocolate and caffeine! I’m also very desperate to own a puppy, I think going home to a dog will brighten up every single day.”

If you could have a special power, what would it be and why?

“I have quite long hair and literally dread having to dry it – it’s so time consuming and boring. As dull as it sounds if I could have a special power it would be clicking my fingers and my hair being dry!

Lastly, what do you love most about working at Click?

“Although everyone says this, it has got to be the way that everyone is like a big family. We all genuinely enjoy coming to work every day! On top of this, the progression routes and opportunities that are provided to everyone in the company is great, I’ve learnt so much since I’ve been here and continue to on a daily basis. ”
